It's 1919, and New Orleans is in the ripe and raunchy height of Mardi Gras. A killer is on the loose and he has published a letter promising to kill again at 15 minutes past midnight on Mardi Gras. His promise to spare anyone who is where a jazz band is playing has the hall packed at 12 W Main, where the vibe is hot and the tunes are cool. But the Axeman is not the only murderer on the loose. There is a killer at the party tonight. Watch your dance card. You may be performing the Dance of Death-your last dance ever.
